Digital products can receive a license after payment

What changed?

Kiero OMS supports configuring digital products, versioned license profiles and fulfillment rules linked to a Stripe price. After a confirmed payment, the worker can create a license or secure download entitlement for the purchased item.

Benefit

You do not need to send a digital key manually after every sale. Licenses can have an expiry, activation limit and event history, while retries avoid issuing the same key twice.

How to use it

Configure a digital product, a license profile and a rule connecting it to a Stripe price. After purchase, the customer can verify a key, and an application can activate or deactivate a specific installation. Secure download delivery is available for products configured with that fulfillment mode.

Important limitations

Keys are handled in a protected flow and are not returned in logs or queue payloads. Production migration, provider sandbox/E2E coverage and the complete operator workflow still need verification; the article describes the implemented capability, not a completed production rollout.
